SO IT IS FREE TO ALL STUDENTS.

At Mt. Morris Schools, we know that good nutrition and learning go hand in hand that is why all of our staff are trained to meet  the USDA Guidelines of Professional Standards and are Serve Safe Certified.

New Meal Patterns and Regulations

The Food and Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

ANNUAL ELIGIBILITY FORM

Every year, the State of Michigan requires schools to complete applications to certify household incomes as part of the Community Eligibility Provision within its Food Service Programs. Below you will find a copy of the form that is needed to be filled out.
